Holmen Skog invests in mechanical planting and is looking for someone who wants to contribute to a sustainable value chain – from seed to wooden house.

You will be part of a machine team of four people and work with the planting machine PlantMax, which prepares the soil and plants new forests simultaneously. Your main tasks will include operating the machine, machine maintenance, and planning daily work. The role also includes responsibility for plant care and handling of seedlings.

The work area is primarily within a radius of about 80 kilometers from Bastuträsk. Initially, the work will be located in Västernorrland. An important part of the job is understanding the end customer's needs and having close cooperation with the work team, forestry leaders, production leaders, and other Holmen colleagues. Daily follow-up of work and ongoing maintenance of the machine is a natural part of the position.

Your Future Challenge

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently in the forest while being part of a team working towards common goals. Taking responsibility for your own tasks and achieving good quality in your work is a given for you. You consider effective collaboration within your team and with colleagues to be of utmost importance, and having good structure and order regarding your work is essential. You are interested in new technology, development issues, and see opportunities in change.

We believe that you who are applying have an education from a nature management high school or equivalent competence. You are comfortable using new technology and IT systems. Experience in operating forestry machines and machine maintenance is an advantage. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. A B driver's license is a requirement; a BE driver's license is an advantage.
